Success for Hoddy's Puppy food - we're off to crufts

We launched Hoddy’s for puppies last year and have since been having fantastic feedback from our customers. We thought we’d showcase this with one of our regular customers whose young dog, that has been raised on Hoddy’s, is now off to compete at Crufts!

Saffron aka “Diersett Moon of the Skies”, an English Setter, is a wonderful example of what, careful breeding and dedicated ownership topped off with the right nutrition, can achieve.

Kay Reid, Saffron's owner and breeder, is a loyal Hoddy’s customer and as soon as we launched Hoddy’s for puppies she ensured that her newest pup Saffy was raised on it.

Saffron’s puppy career has been nothing short of remarkable. Not only has she qualified for Crufts she has also made an unforgettable start in her first Championship season by taking ‘Best Puppy in Breed’ at her first Championship show. Saffy has since won numerous Best Puppy in Breed awards and even a couple of Best of Breed awards, which is exceptional for a pup.

Kay says that “one particularly proud moment came at the Yorkshire Gundog Show, where she was awarded Best Vulnerable Native Breeds Puppy in show”

Kay told us that “I am absolutely delighted with how good Saffy looks on Hoddy’s for puppies. She has a profuse, silky coat, excellent strong bone and great muscle and substance.

She has just turned 12 months old and is now on Hoddys Adult Food, like her mum, Tanith.

We’re incredibly proud to see Saffron thriving and achieving so much in her first year. Stories like this are exactly why we are so passionate about creating the very best puppy and dog food from quality & sustainable British protein sources.

Good luck at Crufts and all your future show ring efforts Saffy.

Results:

Kay & Saffy were rewarded a very creditable 3rd in the junior class (12-18 month old dogs).

Well done Saffy & Kay- That is brilliant !!
