Hoddy's is protein rich and grain free. We don't have anything against grain, but because we don't really see the value in putting it into our dog food, we have chosen not to! On a more positive note, a grain free diet does appear to help with constipation and improve the quality of your dog's coat. Other benefits you might notice include: better skin condition, more energy and less gas!
Hypoallergenic
The prefix 'hypo' means 'less than' or 'lower'. When combined with 'allergenic' it simply means that Hoddy's is less likely to trigger an allergic reaction in your dog than other non-hypoallergenic dog food.

We believe that a natural diet helps fuel a healthy life. That's why we avoid any artificial flavour, preservatives, colouring or synthetic nutrients.
Added vitamins and minerals
A well balanced diet will, by definition, provide all the nutrients your dog needs for strong bones, healthy teeth and an active life. The vitamins and minerals we add to Hoddy's help to make it a complete and well balanced dog food.
Gut friendly prebiotics
Just like us, dog's need a healthy gut to thrive. Prebiotics have an important role to play as they feed the good bacteria in your dog’s gut to keep it healthy. More than 80% of your dog’s immune system lives in the gut so we want to keep this healthy to help support optimal digestion and reduce inflammation or sickness.
No artificial flavours, colours or preservatives
They just aren't healthy or necessary! Instead, we have added some really good stuff like: linseed oil to support healthy skin and coat condition; yucca extract to reduce stool odour; natural antioxidants for the immune system and prebiotics to support optimal digestion.

Fresh drinking water should be provided at all times. The quantities shown should be used as a guideline only. Please adjust the amount given to keep your dog in a lean, active condition. When changing foods please introduce gradually by mixing with existing feed over the period of a week.

Feeding guidelines
Ideally spread the intake over several meals. Ensure that fresh water is available for your puppy. Store in a cool and dry place and ensure the pack is properly closed after opening. Best before End Date is printed on packaging, the product has a shelf life of 18 months.
